Based in Newport Beach, CA, Channel Direct Group was founded in 2011 as a consultancy specializing in the development and implementation of efficient, cost-effective global channel strategies for the consumer electronics and commercial IT markets.
An 18 year veteran of Ingram Micro, the world’s largest information technology and consumer electronics distributor and a Fortune 100 company, managing partner David Nalley brings more than 33 years of IT and CE channel experience to Channel Direct Group. Clients include Fortune 500 Companies and Emerging Technology Vendors.

David is energized by the opportunity to use his experience and industry contacts to develop and execute client channel and supply chain strategies, shorten their time to market and optimize their channel reach. His personal channel journey includes an 18 year career at Ingram Micro, the world’s largest information technology and consumer electronics distributor and a Fortune 100 company, where he led North American retail and internet reseller sales and managed some of the world’s largest resellers in these categories.
On the enterprise IT side, David led Ingram Micro’s enterprise computing sales effort with value added resellers, corporate resellers, direct solution providers and global resellers. Prior to that he honed his business relationship skills as vice president of worldwide sales for Baker and Taylor Software and held management positions with Epson America and NCR Corporation.
